I'm Devon Meadows. Dad. Thinker. Tinkerer. Right now I'm CTO at [[Cake]]. This is my working brain in public.

I walk and talk into my phone a lot. 60-minute voice dumps on mountain walks. For a long time, those ideas got buried in messy transcripts. I realized [[Manual note refinement doesnt scale]]. So I built a system.

I'm building the Cake app and the site. I'm still developing [[Morning Paper]]. And I'm getting back into [[Commune]], the project that got me here. It powers this site. Six months of building software, sites and agents moved my skills enough that the parts I used to route around are ordinary work now. The receipts are in [my GitHub activity](https://github.com/dmthepm).

I've been playing with [[Herdr]] lately and building up the home lab. I make wall sheets for tools I use enough to learn by muscle memory because [[Printed references turn recall into recognition]]. The first one covers it.

I run [[Noontide]]. [[Main Branch]] is its product and it keeps running. Neither is what I'm heads-down on this season.

These notes are [[Evergreen Notes]]. They compound. This page is triage, not an index — [[The home note triages to your best ideas]]. The sliding panes owe a debt to [[Andy Matuschak's Notes]]. His work showed how interface shapes thinking.
